MY STORY

I was born and raised in a quaint lakeside town in the heart of Michigan. It was here that I first discovered my connection to the water. However, it was not until a family trip to the Caribbean during my childhood that truly sparked my passion for the ocean. After completing high school, my journey lead me to the stunning landscapes of Hawai’i, where I pursued a degree in Marine Biology at the University of Hawai’i.

Amidst my studies, I spent every second I could outdoors photographing all my adventures and sharing them on social media. The visual stories I shared resonated with viewers far beyond my expectations. Little did I know this was the beginning of my photography journey.

Over the next year, I dropped out of college and decided to try out this whole “social media thing” which slowly transitioned into freelance photography. What initially began as a personal passion rapidly unfolded into a career fueled by wanderlust and the desire to share stories from around the world. Since then, my love for visual storytelling has given me the opportunity to work along side some of my dream clients like Wonderful Indonesia, PADI, and Backcountry.

While my work takes me from high up in the mountains to the bottom of the sea, my true passion is documenting underwater imagery. Over the past few years I’ve gone on hundreds of dives, acquired numerous dive certifications, and volunteered at ocean conversation organizations gainning hands-on experience. I hope that through my work, people will fall in love with the ocean and be inspired to take action to save our planet for generations to come.

So yeah, that’s me - a girl who discovered her passion by the shores of Michigan, found purpose in the heart of Hawai’i, followed her dreams and now captures the boundless beauty of our world.
